How the press works

Five drawings, one sentence each.

The colophon

Every copy pays the press its creator share of the tax in BNB, after Flap's fee and its typist's commission, each time its tax is dispatched.

A trade on a copy coin pays tax, the coin's tax processor sends the whole creator share to the press, and a small commission goes straight to the typist. COPY 7777 TAX PRESS 0.06% to the typist

Every copy pays the press

Anyone can retype any title, as often as they like, and no copy earns from the copies typed from it: every copy pays the press, and only the press pays the writers.

A title, a stack of first copies anyone can type, and one copy's carbon passing on to a second and a third generation; every copy drops its ink straight down into the press, no copy passes any to another, and the press pays the writers. any number carboncarbon PRESSwriters

Four carbons

A copy carries four one-time codes, each typing one new copy from it, a generation fainter, until the fourth generation, whose carbon is spent.

One copy carrying four carbon codes, and each code typing exactly one new copy a generation fainter. carbon 1carbon 2carbon 3carbon 4

Generations fade

Each generation prints a shade fainter, as carbon copies do, and the title itself is always open for a fresh first copy.

Four copies in a row, generations one to four, each typed a shade fainter than the one before, and an empty place after the fourth. GEN 1GEN 2GEN 3GEN 4

Per sheet, not per copy

A title's sheets become payable at the fee in force when it was published, 7 days after the later of its publication and its pen name's seating, while the pen name has at least five members; nothing is paid per copy.

Sheets written by the writers turn into pay in BNB, while any number of copies sold adds nothing to it. BNB 0
